 Insurance Companies: As discussed under “Insurance”, you give up substantial control, privacy, and confidentiality when you decide to use a health insurance policy for the payment of professional services. In most cases, health insurance may not pay very much anyway, so you'll want to consider whether it is in your best interests to use insurance even if you have it. I'll be happy to discuss this important topic further with you before you become a client. I am pleased to accept traditional Medicare with a Medicare Supplement policy. If you have traded your traditional Medicare for a so-called Medicare Advantage Plan, you'll need to check with your insurance company to see what they will cover.
